What is a Radiographer?
A Radiographer uses X-ray, MRI, CT and other imaging to support diagnosis and treatment. They are HCPC-registered and work in hospitals and community. Most NHS radiographers are on AFC Band 5 or 6.

Radiography offers variety, technology and patient contact. Pay and satisfaction depend on specialty (e.g. MRI, ultrasound) and trust. Progression to Band 7 (superintendent, specialist) or reporting is common.
