Spot a wrong figure, a broken page, or a role we should add? Email us with the page URL and your inputs so we can investigate.

We read every message. Data corrections, broken calculators and misleading copy are prioritised. Most replies arrive within a few working days.
Reporting a calculator issue
The fastest way to help us fix a result is to send:
- The full page URL from your browser address bar
- Your role and calculator type (for example NHS Paramedic, annual leave)
- The inputs you entered: band, years in band, FTE, service years, allowance toggles, and so on
- What you expected and what the tool showed
- Your employer or sector if it helps us check the right dataset
Screenshots are helpful but not required if you list inputs clearly. Every results panel also links here via “Report a wrong result”.
Suggestions and new roles
If a role or organisation is missing from search, tell us the job title and employer type. We add calculators from our master role list where published pay frameworks and rules data exist.
Ideas for new planning tools or guides are welcome. We cannot promise timelines, but user reports shape what we build next.

Before you write
Can you tell me my exact payslip or tax?
No. We provide illustrative public sector planning tools, not payroll or tax advice. For payslip queries contact your employer HR or payroll team. For tax, see HMRC guidance.
Do you store my salary when I use a calculator?
Calculation inputs are processed in your browser. We do not store your salary on our servers. Optional band and FTE prefill for planning journeys stays in local browser storage on your device only. See the privacy policy.
I found an error in a pay dataset. What should I send?
Send the page URL, the band or spine point affected, the figure you believe is correct, and a link to the official source (NHS Employers, STPCD, NJC circular, and so on). We review data sources periodically and patch confirmed errors in the next build.
