Frequently asked questions
Can a head or deputy get a TLR?
No. STPCD 2025 paras 20.1 and 21.1 award TLR payments and SEN allowances to classroom teachers. Leadership pay is set on the leadership pay range instead.
Are these the final 2026/27 figures?
Not yet. They are STPCD 2025 figures plus the 3.5% award. The final STPCD 2026 had not been published when we checked on 9/10/2026, and these figures will be replaced when it is.
Are the results gross or net? Do you store my data?
Unless this page says otherwise, figures are gross (before tax, National Insurance and pension). Your calculator inputs and results stay in your browser and are not stored.
